Ideally, dosage of over 1 tablet per day is divided between a morning and evening dosage.
For dogs up to 30 pounds, Glyco-Flex III are initiated for the first 4 - 6 weeks with a dose of 1/2 tablet daily. Dogs of 31-60 pounds receive a dosage of 1 tablet daily for the initial period. From 61-100 pounds, dogs are to receive 2 tablets daily and dogs over 100 pounds are started with 2.5 tables per day.
After the initial 4-6 week period, dosage can be reduced to the suggested maintenance dosage of ˝ tablet every other day for dogs up to 30 pounds. From 31-60 pounds the maintenance dosage is ˝ tablet per day. Dogs from 61-100 pounds is 1 tablet per day and over 100 pound dogs would receive 1 ˝ tablet per day.
If you prefer soft chews, the initial dosage period indicates one soft chew daily for dogs up to 30 pounds. For dogs from 31-60 pounds, the initial dosage is 2 soft chews daily. Dogs over 61 pounds to 100 pounds receive 4 soft chews per day and dogs over 100 pounds receive 5 soft chews per day.
After the initial 4-6 week initial dosage period, the maintenance dosage is as follows: Dogs up to 30 pounds would receive 1 soft chew every other day. Dogs over 30 pounds to 60 pounds receive 1 soft chew everyday. From 61-100 pound dogs are dosed with 2 soft chews per day. Over 100 pound dogs receive 3 soft chews per day.
