That Others Might Discard

As individuals and organizations became more sensitive to the needs of the unwanted and otherwise, euthanized, dogs in their communities or of their breed of interest, it seems inevitable that someone would have found a particularly soft spot for those born with additional challenges. As a result, many families are committed to living with and adopting dogs that are somehow "special". Whether due to health concerns, amputation or sensory debility like blindness or deafness, none of these families feel that they are compromising at all in the relationships they enjoy with their canine companions.
While many of them, like those who adopt dogs whose blindness or deafness is a direct result of irresponsible breeding as in the case of Lethal Whites , resent the thoughtless and callous actions of people that lead to the difficulties of their dogs, they are also emphatic that some basic adjustment in how one interacts with the dog, little more than the variations that many accomplished trainers make when dealing with individual dogs that address the world differently due to size or motivation, are all that is required.
So here, on DigitalDog, we strive to offer a link to from the world of Dog Lover Extraordinaire, to the world of Extraordinaire Dog Lover for certainly, these dogs and their extraordinariness can't help but translate into a new kind of world and life for their families!
