Draft
Heart and soul defines the elements of the great Draft breeds. Many times their ability to serve as a source of transport saved lives (including their own). Many of this group served their roles in some of the most inhospitable places on earth with minimal care. Their work was often grueling, even cruel. Today, Draft has become a great family activity that the dogs love. Certainly anyone considering a dog from these breeds owes it to themselves and their prospective companion to reflect on how they will channel the energy and drive that makes a dog a member of the Draft breeds. |
